Bill and I met in Oct of 1996 in the state of Washington.  I was 20 years old and Bill had just turned 21.  I flew in on a late afternoon with a mutual friend of ours.  As we arrived my friend and I rented a car and off we were to a nightclub to meet up with some of his friends for some fun.  As I entered the night club, I went straight to the restroom to fix my hair and as I walked out, there he was, Bill standing there as if God had sent him to wait for me. He was the first person I saw and met.  I remember just staring into his eyes and being in Awwww!  I felt an instant connection with him and so did he.  After that night we would all go out as a group and slowly Bill and I started to get to know each other more and more.  By Christmas of 96' I was back in California and by then our relationship started to blossom even more.  We become best of friends over 100's of phone calls.  I didn't see him again until Valentines of 97’ and that was when we had our first kiss...mmmmm and do I remember that, yummy!  I would love to say that, that kiss sealed everything for us but it was not the case.  We slowly dated for several years, off and on.   The first 3 years where the toughest.  We had a lot of cultural differences we needed to over come.  Nevertheless, our love for each other was so deep, that neither one of us gave up.  Slowly we overcame a lot of barriers and almost 6 years later Bill asked me to marry him.  Within months we planned out our wedding and got hitched.  It was a wonderful day and it has been a great marriage ever since.  We are very blessed!  Now we are here with our two little ones, Andrew and Emma celebrating our 6 year Wedding Anniversary!  I thank God everyday for sending me such a great soul mate.
